I did it! Pick Your Battles has it’s first couple of posts, I now have 2 dynamic sites. It’s a lot of work and I think it is almost time to start setting goals. But first, I just want to get my rhythm down.

Yes, under the dog is now launched. There is a few articles up but no promotion quite yet. I want at least a couple dozen articles up first.
I have begun work on pick your battles. I already installed wordpress and made a header using a creative commons theme and I hope to have that site ready for launch by wednesday. I’m goping to be posting hopefuly an article a day. After a month of some serious postingĀ I hope to start recruiting some guest writers.
Coming soon will be traffic building experiments and results.

I just purchased this domain to host this weblog to keep track of my progress with my internet entrepreneurial exploits. I also purchased http://underthedog.com and http://pickyourbattles.net in addition to already owning http://ofwhatitis.com .
I plan on running a webzine, a political portal and a site for my faux company/record label. I say faux because it’s really just a hobby that I hope one day will turn into lots of affiliate conversions and the eventual quitting of day jobs.
Everything is still in the design and planning stages as I lost everything in a miscommunication with my web host. Rather than sit on the phone with their tech support for another hour, I decided to just start fresh. I made a few mistakes the first time around and I hope to remedy those mistakes this time around.
As far as goals are concerned I have to have the webzine designed and ready for content in a week tops. It’s fairly preliminary to even say about the other sites at this point, but I hope to have the portal ready by January 1st at the latest and O.W.I.I. ready a couple of weeks after that.
In order to accomplish those goals I am going to have to learn a few things about design and coding and just using uber complicated CMSes(sic?). I am going to test drive Drupal, Plone, Pligg and Joomla and if I can’t really get those going then I might just use Wordpress as a CMS with a page pluging but I hope it doesn’t come down to it.
